The United States Border Collie Handler's Association is the national organization responsible for sanctioning Stockdog trials in the United States. The USBCHA is the sanctioning body for the 209 National Cattledog Finals.
In 2008 there were 16 states represented by 41 handlers.
Those states included: Wyoming, Idaho, Tennessee, Virginia, South Dakota, Washington, Oregon, Georgiz, NEbraska, Missouri, Arkansas, California, Iowa, Texas, Colorado and North Carolina.
In 2007 there were also 16 states and 2 Canadian Provinces
represented by 53 handlers.
Those states included:
Oregon, California, Wyoming, Colorado, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, West Virginia and Alberta and Saskechetwan Canada.
